Usman Abdallah will return to the dugout for Kano Pillars after the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) side on Tuesday lifted his suspension, Afrosport reports.
Abdallah was suspended by Kano Pillars in February due to poor results and his conduct towards the fans following a goalless draw against Bayelsa United at the Sani Abacha Stadium in matchday 22.
His suspension, which was for an initial three weeks, was extended at the start of March, with his assistant Ahmed Garba taking charge of the team during this period.
The Sai Masu Gida made the announcement on X, with a post that read, “All issues have now been resolved. Technical Adviser Usman Abdallah has returned after the misunderstanding with the fans and will lead the team for the remainder of the season. Welcome back, Gaffer!”
The four-time NPFL champions are currently eighth in the league standings with 44 points from 31 games.
Kano Pillars will battle 18th-placed Heartland at the Dan Anyiam Stadium in Owerri on Sunday.
