Nigeria National League (NNL) club ABS FC have sacked their head coach, Sani Sardauna after a poor run of form, Afrosport reports.
The development was confirmed on Monday by the club’s football director, Alloy Chukwuemeka.
Meanwhile, coach Taofeeq Babatunde has been drafted in to take over in an interim capacity at the Ilorin-based club and he will be assisted by Salaudeen Adeyinka.
ABS FC have embarked on a break following the conclusion of the first half of the season and are expected to beef up their squad ahead of the second half as they aim to turn around their fortunes in the NNL.
According to reports, only 23 players from the current squad will be retained heading into the second part of the league campaign.
