Nigerian forward Josh Maja has won the Goal of the Season award at West Bromwich Albion, Afrosport reports.
Maja, who also won West Brom’s top scorer award for the 2024-25 season, edged teammates Isaac Price and John Swift to win the individual honour, which was voted for by club supporters.
The 26-year-old won the accolade with his sublime goal in a 1-1 draw against Luton Town in the Championship in November 2024.
After Karlan Grant’s sent in a low cross into the danger area, Maja was o hand to find the back of the net with a wonderful flick in first-half stoppage time inside Luton’s Kenilworth Road.
Meanwhile, Price finished second in the voting with his brilliant volley against Hull City, while Swift placed third with his free kick at Turf Moor against Burnley.
Maja played 26 times for the Baggies this season, scoring 12 goals and providing two assists, as a leg injury sustained in January ruled him out for the rest of the season.
