Nigeria international Kingsley Ehizibue was on target as Udinese shocked reigning Serie A champions AC Milan 3-1 at the Stadio Friuli on Saturday night.
The right back, who has yet to make an appearance for the Super Eagles despite being called to the National Team by former head coach Gernot Rohr in March 2020, scored Udinese’s third goal as they cruised to their first home win of the year.

Roberto Pereyra got the first goal for the home side in the 9th minute with a right-footed strike from inside the box that left Milan’s goalkeeper Mike Maignan rooted to the spot.
After a handball in the Udinese box, Zlatan Ibrahimovic got the Rossoneri level in first-half stoppage time with a well-taken penalty following a retake after his initial penalty had been saved by goalkeeper Marco Silvestri, but Le Zebrette were penalized for defensive encroachment.

The former PSG forward, who recently got called up to the Swedish National Team ahead of the upcoming international break, became the oldest goalscorer in the history of the Italian top division at 41 years and 166 days, overtaking former Milan defender Alessandro Costacurta (41 years and 25 days) who did the same in May 2007.
The 19-time Serie A champions thought they were heading into the halftime break on level terms, but Portuguese striker Beto Gomes had other ideas. The 25-year-old swept in a cross from Nigerian forward Isaac Success to put the home side back ahead.

They made it three in the 70th minute through Ehizibue’s easy tap-in at the back post off a low cross from Italian-Nigerian left wingback Destiny Udogie.
The victory was Udinese’s second in as many games and their first against Milan in 12 games. They move to eighth in the league standings with 38 points, while Stefano Pioli’s men remain fourth with 48 points but are in danger of losing their position with Roma a point and a game behind them.
