This is the second award the former Bodo/Glimt striker has been nominated for this season after coming second in the Best African Player award category.
Boniface will be looking to become the first Nigerian to take home the award after Paul Onuachu did the same in the 2020–21 season.
The winner of the accolade will be determined by votes from all Belgian Pro League players and Belgian players from other top leagues across the globe.
