Nigeria women’s cricket head coach, Leke Oyede has named 14 players for the Nigeria Cricket Federation (NCF) Women’s T-20 international invitational in Lagos.
The tournament will feature four other African countries – Rwanda, Sierra Leone, Ghana and Cameroon at the Tafawa Balewa Square (TBS) and it will run from March 25 to April 3.
Coach Oyede finalised his squad list after intense training sessions in Edo State for the international tournament.
Veteran Blessing Etim has been selected to lead the Female Yellow Greens dominated by the national U-19 players while Favour Esiegbe will comes in as Vice-Captain and Abigail Igbobie stands in as the Wicket Keeper.
