The draws for the 2024 Beach Soccer Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers were conducted on Thursday at the headquarters of the Confederation of Africa Football (CAF) in Cairo, Egypt.
Fourteen teams, including defending champions Senegal and two-time winners Nigeria, will participate in the qualifiers for this year’s Beach Soccer AFCON, which will be held in Egypt.
Nigeria’s Super Sand Eagles are drawn against Mauritania in the qualifiers for the 2024 Beach Soccer AFCON, while Senegal, winners of the last edition of the tournament in Mozambique in 2021, will face Guinea.
Meanwhile, 2022 bronze medalists Morocco are up against Angola; Ghana will lock horns against Ivory Coast; Tanzania will battle Uganda; the Seychelles will face Mozambique; and Burundi will take on Malawi.

The qualifiers will be played over two legs: the first leg will be held between July 19 and 21, while the second leg will take place between July 26 and 28.
The seven teams that emerge as winners after the two-legged qualifiers will join hosts Egypt in the finals of the tournament.
