Super Eagles head coach Jose Peseiro has invited 25 players for the upcoming international friendly matches against Saudi Arabia and Mozambique in October.
Turkey-based Fisayo Dele-Bashiru is the only new player selected for the matches while in-form OGC Nice forward Terem Moffi returns to the team alongside Alex Iwobi.
Iwobi was unable to make the last Africa Cup of Nations qualifying match against Sao Tome and Principe because of his late move to Fulham from Everton.
The goalkeepers are unchanged with Francis Uzoho ecpected to challenge Adebayo Adeleye and Ojo Olorunleke for the no. 1 shirt.
Nigeria will face Saudi Arabia on October 13 before battling AFCON-bound Mozambique,three days later.
Both matches will take place at the Estadio Municipal de Portimao in Portugal as part of preparations for the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers that start in November and next year’s Africa Cup of Nations in the Ivory Coast.
