OGC Nice manager Didier Digard is pleased with the Terem Moffi’s how of consistency following their 2-2 draw against Nantes in the French Ligue 1 on Sunday.
The Nigerian forward scored a goal and also provided an assist for Burundi defender Youssouf Ndayishimiye as they left Stade de la Beaujoire with a share of the spoils.
Sunday’s goal took Moffi’s tally to three goals in six league games for Nice, coupled with two assists.
So far this season, the Lorient loanee has scored 15 goals, four behind the Ligue 1’s top marksman Kylian Mbappe, and Digard is also pleased with Moffi’s versatile contributions aside from goalscoring.
“I think I keep having speech every week,” Digard said on the club website.
“I am satisfied with him [Moffi]. I understand that there are expectations to see him score but I find that is not all there is. When he doesn’t have a lot of the ball, whatever happens, he weighs. Opponents take a lot of precautions against him as he is dangerous whether he plays low or tight.
“He always brings us something, touching or not touching the ball. Today he scored, it’s a good thing, he performed well. I’m always happy with him and his investment since he’s been there. Either he scores or he allows us to score. What he does is very consistent.”

Nice occupy the seventh spot on the French top-flight log, four points behind Rennes for the final European qualification spot.
Digard’s men will next tackle FC Sheriff in the second leg of the Europa Conference League Round of 16 on Thursday, holding a 1-0 lead from the first leg in Moldova.
