The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) on Monday confirmed two friendlies for the Super Eagles in November as part of their preparations for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations later this year, Afrosport reports.

The NFF revealed that the three-time African champions will play Venezuela and Colombia in the United States during November’s international break.

Nigeria will take on Venezuela on Friday, 14 November at the Shell Stadium in Houston, with kick-off scheduled for 8pm local time (2am Saturday, 15 November in Nigeria).

Eric Chelle’s side will be in action four days later against Colombia’s Los Cafeteros at Citi Field Stadium in Flushing Meadows, New York with kick-off also set for 8pm Eastern Time (1am Wednesday, 19 November in Nigeria).

The Super Eagles last played in the US in the summer of 2022, suffering a narrow 2-1 defeat to Mexico at AT&T Stadium in Dallas – Cyriel Dessers scored their only goal in Jose Peseiro’s first game in charge. They also lost 1-0 to Ecuador at the Sports Illustrated Stadium in New Jersey.
