Ibrahim Gusau, president of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), on Monday was appointed the president of the West African Football Union (WAFU) Zone B, Afrosport reports.
This follows the resignation of the Ghana Football Association President, Kurt Edwin Simeon-Okraku, who withdrew from the role after he was elected into the Executive Committee of the Confederation of African Football (CAF) in March.
Gusau, who has headed the NFF since September 2022, was the first vice president of WAFU B before his recent appointment.
