Kevin Durant led all scorers with 35 points, Bradley Beal added 17 and Jusuf Nurkic finished with a 15-point and 15-rebound double-double for the Suns, who also had Devin Booker and Grayson Allen combine for 27 points.

The Sixers lost their third straight game despite Tyrese Maxey’s team-high 32 points. Paul George in his competitive debut for Philadelphia had 15 points in 32 minutes, while the Sixers bench poured in 45 points led by France international Guerschon Yabusele’s 19 points.
Elsewhere, the Los Angeles Clippers ended their three-game skid with a 113-104 win over the San Antonio Spurs at the Intuit Dome.

At the Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse in Cleveland, the Cavaliers beat the Milwaukee Bucks 116-114 to maintain their unbeaten start and tie a franchise record as they improved to 8-0 for the season thanks to Darius Garland’s season-high 39 points as well as eight assists and seven 3-pointers made.
