Denver Nuggets point guard Jamal Murray will reportedly be sidelined for about three to four weeks with a hamstring injury.
The 26-year-old NBA champion suffered the blow in Denver’s 123-101 win over the Chicago Bulls at the Ball Arena last Saturday.
Murray, who is averaging 16.3 points and 7.4 assists per game, was previously hit with the same hamstring injury, which kept him out for some time during the Nuggets’ training camp last month.

The Nuggets’ guard has missed their last wins against the New Orleans Pelicans and the Golden State Warriors, and head coach Michael Malone said they would continue to prepare for life without their star guard, who he doesn’t “anticipate being back in the near future.”
Along with his point and assist averages, Murray is shooting 43.3% from the field and 43.8% from beyond the 3-point line across the seven games he has featured in this season.
