Los Angeles Clippers forward Kawhi Leonard and Milwaukee Bucks forward Giannis Antetokounmpo have been named the NBA Players of the Week for Week 24 of the 2024-25 season, Afrosport reports.

Leonard gets the Western Conference Player of the Week nod for the first time this season and the 10th time in his NBA career.
The six-time All-Star wins the award for the fourth time with the Clippers, having led them to a 4-0 record in the week covering 31 March–6 April.
The 33-year-old averaged 24.5 points, 5.8 rebounds, and 1.8 steals per game while shooting 51.3% from the field and 38.1% from three-point range as they defeated the Orlando Magic, New Orleans Pelicans, and Dallas Mavericks (twice).
Leonard, who is averaging 21.0 points, 5.8 rebounds, and 3.0 assists per game across 34 contests this season, fended off competition from teammate Ivica Zubac as well as Deni Avdija (Portland), Stephen Curry (Warriors), Anthony Edwards (Timberwolves), Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (OKC), Austin Reaves (Lakers), and Alperen Sengun (Rockets) to win the award.

Antetokounmpo, meanwhile, wins the Eastern Conference Player of the Week honour for the third time this season (Weeks 5 & 13) and 26th of his career.
He led the Bucks to a 4-0 record in the week under review, averaging 36.0 points, 12.3 rebounds, and 13.7 assists per game, while shooting 63.8% from the field as they defeated the Phoenix Suns, Philadelphia 76ers, Miami Heat, and New Orleans Pelicans.
The 30-year-old is currently averaging 30.5 points, 11.9 rebounds, and 6.3 assists per game while shooting 60.2% from the floor across 64 games this season.
Antetokounmpo brushed off OG Anunoby (Knicks), Paolo Banchero and Franz Wagner (Magic), Josh Giddey and Coby White (Bulls), Tyrese Haliburton and Myles Turner (Pacers), and Donovan Mitchell (Cavs) to win the weekly award.
