Golden State Warriors and Cleveland Cavaliers guards Stephen Curry and Donovan Mitchell are among the finalists for the 2024-25 Twyman-Stokes Teammate of the Year Award as announced by the NBA, Afrosport reports.
The annual award recognises the player deemed the best teammate based on selfless play, on and off the court leadership as a mentor and role model to other NBA players, and commitment and dedication to their team.
12 players, six from each NBA conference, have been announced as finalists including Curry and Mitchell, as well as Al Horford of the Boston Celtics, Houston Rockets’ Steven Adams, and Jalen Brunson of the New York Knicks.
The winner, which will be voted for by current NBA players, will dethrone Mike Conley of the Minnesota Timberwolves, who won the award last year.
