England captain Harry Kane says it feels special to hit the 100 cap milestone in style after scoring twice as the Three Lions beat Finland 2-0 in the UEFA Nations League on Tuesday night at Wembley, Afrosport reports.
The Bayern Munich forward netted in the 57th and 76th minute, taking his goal tally for England to 68.
Kane posted a video on X after the victory, thanking England fans for their support while looking forward to reaching more milestones with the national team.
“Here at Wembley, I just made my 100th cap, yeah, what a night,” the former Tottenham Hotspur forward said.
“Really, really proud night for me and my family as well, couldn’t have asked for a better game to score a couple of goals and help the team win 2-0, it’s one of my proudest nights in English football for sure.
“I just want to thank you all for the support as always, representing my country a 100 times is something I will not take for granted.
“Here is to many more, let’s keep them coming, there’s still a future ahead and I can’t wait for it.”

The victory moves England level on points with Greece at the top of Nations League Group B, Group 2. The Three Lions will return to action in October with key fixtures against Greece and a second encounter with Finland.
Elsewhere, Netherlands drew 2-2 with Germany, Greece won 2-0 away at Ireland and Latvia pipped Faroe Islands 1-0.

In other games, Georgia won 1-0 at Albania, Czech defeated Ukraine 3-2, Malta won 1-0 at Andorra, North Macedonia beat Armenia 2-0 while Hungary were held to a 0-0 draw by Bosnia and Herzegovina
