Switzerland and Denmark played out an entertaining 2-2 draw. Switzerland’s goals from Breel Embolo and Xherdan Shaqiri were matched by Denmark’s Christian Eriksen and Mikkel Damsgaard.
In a closely contested affair, Belarus and Luxembourg played out a 1-1 draw. Belarus took the lead through Viktor Goncharov in the 32nd minute, but Luxembourg fought back, with Gerson Rodrigues equalising in the 78th minute. Elsewhere, Kosovo claimed an emphatic 3-0 win over Cyprus, with goals from Lirim Kastrati (23′), Mergim Mavraj (56′), and Vedat Muriqi (82′). This crucial win strengthens Kosovo’s position in the group, making them serious contenders for promotion.
Lithuania’s Nikita Soshnikov opened the scoring in the 14th minute, but Romania mounted a comeback to win 2-1, with goals from Alexandru Cicâldău and Dennis Man.
