Spain national team head coach Luiz de la Fuente has called up Pau Cubarsi to replace Aston Villa’s Pau Torres ahead of the UEFA Nation League matches against Denmark and Switzerland, Afrosport reports.
Torres arrived at Spain’s Las Rosaz training ground with what seemed to be a “muscular discomfort” according to the Spanish Football Federation (RFEF)
Cubarsi is already a prominent figure for La Liga leaders Barcelona as he has registered one assist and kept four clean sheets in 13 appearances for the Catalan giants.
