Nathan Tella is not giving up on Bayer Leverkusen’s hopes of retaining the Bundesliga title despite not being in control at the moment, Afrosport reports.
The Nigerian forward was on target as the reigning champions defeated Eintracht Frankfurt 4-1 at Deutsche Bank Park on Saturday.
Leverkusen are however eight points behind leaders Bayern Munich who got the better of Stuttgart 3-1 on Friday.
“There are still eight points. Everything is possible. If we focus on what we can do, there are no reasons why we can’t keep increasing the pressure,” Tella said per Bild after the game against Frankfurt.
