Napoli sporting director Giovanni Manna has stated that the club are looking to find a quick solution for the transfer of Victor Osimhen, Afrosport reports.
The Nigerian forward is currently on loan at Galatasaray where he has scored 20 goals in 26 competitive games, and is expected to be sold in the summer after he was axed from the Partenopei squad last year.
Osimhen has a release clause worth €75 million which was lowered after clubs could not meet his initial clause worth €130 million could not be met.
The 2023 CAF African Player of the Year’s future is a continuous topic which Manna wants sorted out.
“Victor is always going to be a hotly-debated topic and not just on the transfer market,” Manna told Sky Sport Italia.
“He is an appetising player for clubs, he has a clause and everyone knows this, we are working to find a solution as quickly as possible, so that we can avoid what happened last year.”
Napoli already sold one of its big players, Georgia winger Khvicha Kvaratskhelia to Paris Saint-Germain in the January transfer window.
