Jamal Musiala is set to return to the Bayern Munich squad for the first time in six months after suffering a leg fracture during the FIFA Club World Cup last summer, Afrosport reports.
The 22-year-old German of Nigerian heritage sustained his injury during the quarter-final against Paris St-Germain after a collision with goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma.
In a positive update, Bayern boss Vincent Kompany confirmed Musiala could feature in Saturday’s Bundesliga match against RB Leipzig on Saturday.
“If all goes wel, the plan is that he will be there,” the Belgian tactician said.
“Obviously Jamal has a lot of positive energy coming out of this dark tunnel.
“Then, even the small things feel great. I tell my players to never forget this feeling of coming back.”

Musiala had a productive 2024-25 campaign before his injury, scoring 21 goals and registering eight assists in 44 competitive games as Bayern won a record-extending 34th Bundesliga title.
His return will also boost his chances of making the Germany squad for the 2026 FIFA World Cup in the summer.
