Mohbad: La Liga club Cadiz commiserates with Nigeria youths over artiste’s death

Spanish La Liga club Cadiz joined Nigerian youths in mourning the death of music artiste, Mohbad, who died at the age of 27 on Tuesday, September 12.

Mohbad, who is named Ilerioluwa Aloba died in the Nigeria’s commercial hub of Lagos and his death has ignited reactions from every corner.

The street pop music star is popular for his tracks titled Feel Good, Peace amongst others and he recently released an EP titled Blessed just before his death.

Cadiz, in a social media post, said they join thousands of Nigerians in mourning the sad demise of Mohbad and they lent their voice in demanding for justice over

“We continue to be shocked and saddened by the news of the death of Nigerian rapper, Mohbad. We wish for rest and justice for the family. Your star will shine brighter than ever in the sky. RIP Mohbad,” they tweeted.

Cadiz are eighth in La Liga with two wins in their five opening matches but their show of solidarity with Nigerian youths has earned them a number of new fans.

Many Nigerians appreciated the Spanish club for the condolence message and they vowed to follow and support them in their La Liga quest.
