Victor Osimhen has reacted to the troll videos shared by Napoli on their Tiktok page after his penalty miss against Bologna on Sunday.
Osimhen deleted all pictures of him with Napoli shirt on his Instagram page on Wednesday morning and he removed the description that he is a Napoli player from his bio.
Osimhen’s agent, Roberto Calenda said they are taking legal steps against Napoli for mocking his client which has caused damage to the Nigeria striker’s personality.
“What happened today on Napoli’s official profile on the TikTok platform is not acceptable. A video mocking Victor was first made public and then, but now belatedly, deleted,” Calenda said.
“A serious fact that causes very serious damage to the player and adds to the treatment that the boy is suffering in the last period between media trials and fake news. We reserve the right to take legal action and any useful initiative to protect Victor.”
Although he has a tally of three goals in five Serie A matches this season, Osimhen has failed to score in his last four appearances for Napoli.
He expressed his frustration on Sunday against Bologna after missing a 72nd-minute penalty as they shared the spoils in a goalless draw.
