Yankuba Minteh and Simon Adingra were among the goalscorers as Brighton & Hove Albion recorded a 4-2 win over Tokyo Verdy on Sunday to conclude their pre-season tour of Japan.
The Seagulls had defeated the Kashima Antlers 5-1 in their first game with Minteh opening the scoring.
The newly-signed Gambian forward was at it again against Tokyo Verdy when he scored just before the half time break to give Brighton a 2-1 lead.

2023 Africa Cup of Nations champions Adingra then made it 3-1 just four minutes into the second half before Naoki Hayashi reduced the deficit for Tokyo and Jeremy Sarimento put the game to bed in the 77th minute.

Brighton’s pre-season preparations will continue with fixtures against Queens Park Rangers and Villarreal before opening the 2024-25 Premier League season at Everton on August 17.
