Bryan Mbeumo scored his 10th goal of the season in all competitions for Manchester United as they defeated Tottenham Hotspur 2-0 in the Premier League on Saturday, Afrosport reports.
The Cameroonian has been in great form since returning from the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco, with goals in the victories over rivals Manchester City and Arsenal.
He got the opening goal against Spurs in the 38th minute after he cooly slotted the ball past goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario from a a Bruno Fernandes corner kick routine.
Mbeumo’s goal came nine minutes after Tottenham captain Cristian Romero was shown a straight red card for a dangerous foul on Brazilian midfielder Casemiro.

Fernandes doubled the lead in the 81st minute to keep United in fourth place, now three points behind third-placed Aston Villa who drew 1-1 away at Bournemouth.
Meanwhile, league leaders Arsenal went nine points clear of Man City after their commanding 3-0 win over newly-promoted Sunderland, Viktor Gyokeres netting a brace and Martin Zubimendi with the other goal.
At the Molineux, Cole Palmer scored a hat-trick and Nigerian forward Tolu Arokodare scored the consolation goal as Chelsea defeated bottom side Wolverhampton Wanderers 3-1 while Burkina Faso forward Dango Ouattara scored and assisted in Brentford’s 3-2 win at Newcastle United.
Everton defeated Fulham 2-1 away from home and West Ham defeated Burnley 2-0 to go within three points of safety.
