Manchester United have agreed a deal to sign Brazilian Matheus Cunha from Wolverhampton Wanderers, the club confirmed on Sunday.
United have reportedly activated a £62.5 million release clause in Cunha’s contract with Wolves.
The 26-year-old will sign a five-year deal at United, with the option for an extra year, and will become their first signing of the summer.

Cunha, whose United deal is subject to visa approval and registration, has reportedly undergone his medical with the club and is expected to complete the move after the international break.
United will be his sixth club, following previous spells in Switzerland, Germany, and Spain, where he donned the colors of Atletico Madrid.
He joined Wolves on an initial loan deal from Atletico in January 2023 and has scored 33 goals and provided 15 assists in 92 appearances in two-and-a-half seasons at Molineux.
Cunha is currently with the Brazil national team, with Carlo Ancelotti’s men set to take on Ecuador on Thursday and Paraguay on Tuesday in the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
