Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford has been awarded the Premier League for the month of January after a string of impressive performances.
The 25-year-old was in top form in the past month, netting three times. His first came in a comfortable 3-0 win over Bournemouth followed by the winner in a comeback 2-1 win over rivals Manchester City. He also scored in the final game of the month against another rival in league leaders Arsenal but it ended in narrow 3-2 defeat.

Rashford has now been awarded with the Premier League Player of the Month gong for the second this season after receiving it in September. He has scored 18 goals in all competitions this season, nine of them in the league with United sitting in fourth place, three points ahead of Tottenham Hotspur.
In another award, Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta was the recipient of the Manager of the Month, the third time the Spaniard has been named this season, matching Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp during the 2019-20 season.

The Gunners remain unbeaten since losing to Man United last September which remains their only defeat in the top-flight this season.
Arsenal faced three big oppositions in January; Newcastle United, Tottenham and Man United. The game against the Magpies ended goalless while they claimed 2-0 and 3-2 wins over the other two to maintain a five-point lead over Man City at the top.

In other categories, Crystal Palace winger Michael Olise has been awarded for the Goal of the Month in January. The 21-year-old Anglo-Nigerian scored a brilliant free kick in Palace’s 1-1 draw with Man United at Selhurst Park, his goal denying the Red Devils maximum points in injury time.

Newcastle goalkeeper Nick Pope was awarded with the Save of the Month. The English shot stopper pulled off a remarkable save to deny Crystal Palace’s Jean Philippe Mateta who’s effort looked destined for the net. The game ultimately ended goalless.
