Ademola Lookman has his sights set on the Europa League final with Bayer Leverkusen after getting the better of Olympique Marseille in the semi-final second leg oh Thursday night.
La Dea reached their first-ever European final by defeating Marseille 4-1 on aggregate while Leverkusen defeated AS Roma 4-2 aggregate and set an European record of 49 games unbeaten in all competitions.
Lookman scored the first goal in the second leg against Marseille, and is happy to be in the final at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin on May 22.
“Yeah we made history. An amazing performance from the team, the Nigerian said after the game.
“We’re in the final. We are going to Dublin so we’re very very happy.
“Yeah, I’m very happy with the goal obviously, and helping the team any way I can, so yeah I’m pleased.”

Reflecting on Leverkusen’s form, Lookman asserted that Atalanta are equally in great form.
“They [Leverkusen] are a top team, a top side and we are in the final against them but we are a top side also. We’ve showed that this season with our results and obviously where we are now,” he added.
“We’re in the Coppa Italia final, the Europa League final, so we look forward to that.”
Lookman’s goal took him to 12 for season in all competitions and was his second in the Europa League this season.
