Liverpool have officially released a special edition LeBron James collection to celebrate the basketball icon, who became the NBA’s all-time leading scorer earlier this week.
The Premier League giants and James have both teased fans with the collection, but it was only officially released 24 hours after the Lakers star eclipsed Kareem Abdul-Jabbar’s long-standing NBA record.
Photos of James donning the special jersey, which is black with red pinstripes and has his logo in the center, have been released on the team’s official social media channels.

James, a four-time MVP, first acquired a two-percent stake in the Anfield outfit in 2011 for about £4.7 million with longtime business associate and friend Maverick Carter, the same year Fenway Sport Group (FSG) bought them for £300 million.
The 38-year-old then converted his stake to a one-percent share in FSG’s global empire in March 2021, after the club won the 2019 Champions League and the Premier League title the following year.
The LFC x LeBron collection has both a fashion and footwear range, which the club explains as embodying “a long-standing connection between two global sporting icons, celebrating our shared values and illustrious histories.”
There are also a variety of vests, shorts, jumpers, shoes, hoodies, and t-shirts that are modelled by the likes of Jordan Henderson, Alisson, Andy Robertson, and Fabio Carvalho.
