Kylian Mbappe was on the score sheet as Real Madrid recorded a 2-0 win over Getafe at the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu in Sunday La Liga action, Afrosport reports.
Jude Bellingham scored from the spot as he sent Madrid ahead on the half-hour with his third goal in three league games after Allan Nyom had dragged Antonio Rudiger to the floor in the penalty area.
Mbappe doubled Madrid’s lead just minutes later with a 20-yard finish after a fine through ball from Bellingham.
The win was Los Blancos’ 16th consecutive home victory which puts them a point behind La Liga leaders Barcelona in second position.
