Youssef En-Nesyri scored his second La Liga goal of the season in Sevilla’s 5-1 bashing of Almeria at Estadio Ramon Sanchez-Pizjuan Stadium on Tuesday night.
The Morocca international scored in Los Nervionenses’ season-opening defeat at home to Valencia and followed that with a goal in the UEFA Super Cup against Manchester City which ended in a penalty shootout defeat.
He opened proceedings against Almeria in the seventh minute with one of his accustomed headers, this time off a Suo corner kick that initially hit the cross bar from Loic Bade’s own headed attempt before En-Nesyri got it right with the rebound.

Belgian-Congolese forward Dodi Lukebakio doubled Sevilla’s lead not long after, showing some deft touches and dribbles before planting the ball into the top left corner of the net. Suso made it 3-0 with a long range strike in the 38th minute.
The onslaught resumed in the second half with Argentina winger Erik Lamela making it 4-0 in the 51st minute.
Almeria scored their consolation goal from the penalty spot courtesy of Colombian forward Luis Suarez but Sevilla had the final say with substitute Kike Salas netting the Andalusian outfit’s fifth goal in added time.
It was only the second win of the season for Jose Luis Mendilibar’s side after six games and it has seen them move up to 11th place.
They will be in La Liga action again in just under than 72 hours when they travel to Camp Nou to tackle reigning champions Barcelona on Friday. The Blaugrana could only manage a 2-2 draw with Mallorca in Tuesday’s other La Liga match.
