Action returned in La Liga after the international break as 10-man Barcelona threw away a two-goal lead against Celta Vigo when they played out a 2-2 draw at the Estadio de Balaidos on Saturday, Afrosport reports.
Raphinha opened the scoring for the visitors after converting Jules Kounde’s cross in the 15th minute. After the interval, Robert Lewandowski scored in the 61st to double Barcelona’s lead.
Marc Casado was sent off on 82 minutes for a second bookable offense, which saw the host maximise the advantage of the extra man with goals from Hugo Alvarez and Alfon Gonzalez in the 84th and 86th minute.

Meanwhile Atletico Madrid coach Diego Simeone marked is 700th match in charge of the club with a 2-1 win over Alaves at the Metropolitano Stadium.
The visitors took the lead in the seventh minute following Jon Guridi’s goal from the penalty spot to make it 1-0 but Antoine Griezmann drew level for Atleti in the 76th minute after also converting from spot.
Alexander Sorloth completed the comeback for Simeone’s men four minutes from time to move them up to second place in the La Liga standings, while Alaves dropped to 16th with 13 points from 14 matches.

In the Catalan derby, Girona extended their season-winning streak as they defeated Espanyol 4-1 at the Estadi Municipal de Montilivi whole 10-man Mallorca ended a winless run of three matches in a 3-2 away win against Las Palmas at the Estadio de Gran Canaria.
Valencia also ended their run of five matches without a victory in a 4-2 win over Real Betis.
