French forward Kylian Mbappe has been named Real Madrid’s Player of the Month for September, Afrosport reports.
Mbappe, who joined Madrid for free this summer, pipped Vinicius Junior, Rodrygo Goes, Dani Carvajal and Eder Militao to the monthly award.

The 25-year-old scored six times for Los Blancos in five matches across all competitions including four goals in four La Liga matches in the month under review.
Mbappe scored a brace in Madrid’s 2-0 win over Real Betis in their opening game in September. He bagged one goal each in their victories over Real Sociedad, Espanyol, Alaves and VfB Stuttgart in the UEFA Champions League.
The former Paris Saint-Germain forward has scored seven goals and provided one assist in 11 appearances for Madrid.
