Ahead of the 2024 Abeokuta 10KM Race organised by Nilayo Sports Management Limited (NSML), the race expo which involves kit pickup and trade fair commenced at the Cultural center, Kuto on Monday, Afrosport reports
According to the organisers, the kit pickup, exhibition, health talk and other side attractions will run through September 27, while the race takes centre stage on Saturday, September 28.

A record 6,000 runners, including elite athletes, registered for this year’s event tagged ‘For Greatness’.
The 10km race will flag-off at Iyana Oloke at 6 a.m. and will come to an end at the Alake Palace, where the post race concert will be held.
Kenya’s Peter Nwaniki is the current holder of the men’s crown, while Shamila Kisirir also from Kenya is the reigning women’s champion.
