Liverpool have agreed a reported £40 million fee to sign Hungarian left-back Milos Kerkez from Bournemouth, Afrosport reports.
The 21-year-old Hungarian is set to become the third signing for the Reds after officially signing Bayer Leverkusen sensation Florian Wirtz in a record £116 million deal and also Jeremie Frimpong, from the same club as a replacement for Trent Alexander-Arnold who departed for Real Madrid.
Kerkez joined Bournemouth from AZ Alkmaar in 2023 when current Liverpool sporting director was with the Cherries, and starred during the 2024-25 season, playing all 38 Premier League games as the South Coast outfit finished an impressive ninth having been in the hunt for European football for much of the season.
Bournemouth have already signed Adrien Truffert from French Ligue 1 club Rennes as his replacement and is now expected to be the starting left-back for Liverpool, with the futures of Andy Robertson and Kostas Tsimikas currently unclear.
Kerkez will team up with compatriot and midfielder Dominik Szoboszlai who has been at Anfield since his £60 million move from RB Leipzig in the summer of 2023.
