Joao Felix completes £43.7 million Al-Nassr move from Chelsea

Joao Felix has completed a transfer to Saudi Pro League giants Al-Nassr, signing a two-year deal worth a reported £43.7 million, Afrosport reports.

The 25-year-old joined Chelsea permanently last summer from Atletico Madrid for £46.3 million, having spent the second half of the 2023-24 season on loan with the Blues.

He, however, failed to establish himself at Stamford Bridge, scoring a total of 11 goals in 40 competitive appearances across the two spells, and spent the second half of the 2024-25 campaign on loan at AC Milan, scoring three times in 21 games.

Felix will now team up with Portugal teammate Cristiano Ronaldo with the hope of landing Al-Nassr the Saudi Pro League title and other major honours.

He is the seventh player Chelsea have sold this summer after Noni Madueke, Djordje Petrovic, Mathis Amougou, Bashir Humphreys, Kepa Arrizabalaga and Marcus Bettinelli, taking the club’s total revenue from sales to £135.7 million.

The West London club are currently on a compulsory break after winning the revamped FIFA Club World Cup in the United States, defeating European champions Paris Saint-Germain 3-0 in the final in New Jersey.
