Colombian striker Jhon Duran has joined Saudi Pro League side Al-Nassr from Aston Villa in a big-money move worth up to £71 million, Afrosport reports.
Duran, who was an unused substitute in Villa’s 4-2 win over Celtic in the UEFA Champions League on Wednesday, will become teammates with five-time Ballon d’Or winner Cristiano Ronaldo as well as former Premier League stars Sadio Mane and Aymeric Laporte.

“Aston Villa can confirm that Jhon Duran has joined Al Nassr,” the Premier League club said. “Everyone at Aston Villa would like to wish Jhon all the best in the next step of his professional career.”
The 21-year-old joined Villa from Major League Soccer side Chicago Fire for £18m in January 2023 but finally gets his move away from the club following previous links with a move to West Ham and Chelsea, among others.
He has scored 12 goals in 29 games in competitions for Villa this season, taking his tally for the club to 20 goals in 78 appearances.
Duran made his national team debut for Colombia in September 2022 and has since scored two goals in 15 appearances.
Al-Nassr are currently third in the Saudi Pro League with 38 points, eight behind leaders Al-Hilal.
