Born in Binningen, Switzerland, Isiah is of Nigerian descent through his father while his mother is Swiss.
The eldest Okafor, Elijah is also a footballer and plays as a right-back for the FC Lugano reserves in native Switzerland.
Noah and Elijah maintained allegiance with their country of birth, Switzerland, with the former playing in various international games for Switzerland from youth to senior team.
Noah made his debut for the Switzerland senior national team on June 9, 2019, in the 2019 UEFA Nations League third-place game against England.
He scored his first international goal in a 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Bulgaria on November 15, 2021.
