FC Zurich have reached an agreement to sign 19-year-old Isaiah Okafor from Bayer Leverkusen.

Okafor is leaving Leverkusen U-19 side where he scored a goal in 10 games in the just-concluded U19 Bundesliga season.

Isiah Okafor is reportedly set to sign a two-year deal with an option to extend until June 2029.

Isiah Okafor, a sibling to AC Milan star Noah Okafor, plays for Switzerland U19, but he is still eligible to play for Nigeria through his parental heritage.

Noah played 28 games for AC Milan in the 2023-24 Italian Serie A season and scored six goals and provided two assists.

Born in Binningen, Switzerland, Isiah is of Nigerian descent through his father while his mother is Swiss.

The eldest Okafor, Elijah is also a footballer and plays as a right-back for the FC Lugano reserves in native Switzerland.

Noah and Elijah maintained allegiance with their country of birth, Switzerland, with the former playing in various international games for Switzerland from youth to senior team.

Noah made his debut for the Switzerland senior national team on June 9, 2019, in the 2019 UEFA Nations League third-place game against England.

He scored his first international goal in a 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Bulgaria on November 15, 2021.
