Tosin Adarabioyo has stated that he is at Chelsea to win after signing for the Stamford Bridge outfit on a free transfer.
The 26-year-old England centre-back of Nigerian heritage, will move a few miles across West London when his contract with Fulham expires at the end of June.
Adarabioyo is Chelsea’s first new signing under new manager Enzo Maresca and the Manchester City academy graduate declared his desire to win trophies with the Blues.
“Growing up, Chelsea has always been a club that have performed well and one that have had great players and teams to watch. Chelsea have won big trophies and long may it continue,” he told the club website.
“I’m here to win. I want to win. It’s as simple as that really. I just want to keep working and pushing the team and the club in the direction we want to go in. I’m excited to get going.”
Speaking on his qualities, Adarabioyo said: “I’ve developed leaps and bounds. ‘I’ve become a man and established myself as a top Premier League centre-half. That’s why I’ve joined Chelsea.
“Being a leader comes to me naturally. It’s something that is required of a centre-half. It’s an important responsibility. I want to come here and push the boys on as much as we can.”

Adarabioyo also said he is looking forward to working with coach Maresca who was assistant to Pep Guardiola at Man City before going to Leicester City where he won the Championship title last season and guided them back to the Premier League.
“I’m looking forward to starting work with Enzo and I’m sure the boys are too,” he added.
“It’s going to be exciting. We’re going to play good football and win a lot of games. There are top players in this squad and I’m eager to play with them all.”
Adarabioyo’s career began at Manchester City as a youth player but he failed to make it in the first team and spent time on loan at West Bromwich Albion and Blackburn Rovers before going on to sign for Fulham in October 2020.
