Kelechi Iheanacho was on the scoresheet once again as Leicester City defeated Tottenham Hotspur 4-1 in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.
The Nigeria international netted in the Foxes previous game against Midland rivals Aston Villa, and also provided two assists.
In Saturday’s Premier League encounter at the King Power Stadium, Spurs took the lead via Uruguay midfielder Rodrigo Bentancur, but the Foxes responded back thanks a stunning strike from Senegalese midfielder Nampalys Mendy, who scored his first-ever goal in the blue shirt.
It soon became 2-1 to Brendan Rodgers’ men, with Iheanacho providing the assist for fit-again James Maddison.
Iheanacho then found the back of the net in the fourth minute of injury time in the first half with a low volley from about 18 yards out. The goal was the fourth in his last six games having also netted in FA Cup victories over Gillingham and Walsall which sent Leicester to the fifth round.

Leicester were 4-1 up in the 70th minute through Harvey Barnes, but his effort was ruled out for offside by VAR.
However, the Englishman was not going to be denied nine minutes from time, with Maddison turning provider for his effort.
The victory made it back-to-back wins for Leicester for the first time since before the 2022 FIFA World Cup break and it signalled their return to form with tough league meetings against Manchester United and leaders Arsenal up next on their plates.
