Super Eagles striker Odion Ighalo powered Al Hilal to a 2-0 victory in the Saudi Professional League on Tuesday night with his second consecutive brace.
Over the weekend, the former Manchester United scored a first-half brace in Al Hilal’s 2-0 victory against Al Khaleej and he continued from where he left off against Al Feiha.
Ighalo took advantage of an assist from Brazilian star Michael in the stoppage time of the first half to break the deadlock and the two players linked up again at the death of the encounter with the Nigerian doubling the lead in the 92nd minute.
The 33-year-old has now scored 14 goals in his last nine matches for Al Hilal who are third in the Saudi top-fight table with eight points behind leaders Al Ittihad.
With his goals on Tuesday, Ighalo becomes the joint-top scorer in the Saudi Professional League with 16 goals in 18 matches while Cristiano Ronaldo trails with 11 goals for Al Nassr.
