Liverpool v Crystal Palace
Egyptian international Mohamed Salah got his league-best 29th goal of the season, while Senegalese forward Ismaila Sarr scored his eighth as champions Liverpool were held to a 1-1 draw against Crystal Palace at Anfield.
Sarr opened the scoring for the FA Cup-winning Palace in the ninth minute, finding the bottom corner of Alisson’s post after receiving the ball from defender Tyrique Mitchell.
Salah, meanwhile, rescued a point for 10-man Liverpool, who had Dutch midfielder Ryan Gravenberch sent off in the 68th minute. The 32-year-old latched on to a header from Cody Gakpo before firing the ball into the roof as the Reds amassed 84 points after 38 games.
Manchester United v Aston Villa
Elsewhere, at Old Trafford, Ivorian forward Amad Diallo was on the scoresheet for Manchester United in their 2-0 win over 10-man Aston Villa.
United were unable to break the deadlock for long spells in the game despite being the more dominant side, but Amad opened the scoring in the 76th, heading home a brilliant through ball from Bruno Fernandes for his eighth goal of the season.
The 22-year-old was also involved in United’s second goal as he was brought down in the box by Villa fullback Ian Maatsen, with Christian Eriksen converting the resulting penalty.
Bournemouth v Leicester City
Meanwhile, Ghana international Antoine Semenyo bagged a brace at the Vitality Stadium as Bournemouth defeated Leicester City 2-0.
Semenyo flicked home Illia Zabarnyi’s header in the 74th minute before finding the bottom corner with a powerful shot 14 minutes later for his second goal of the game and his 10th in the league this campaign.
Wolverhampton Wanderers v Brentford
