Super Falcons striker Gift Monday has signed a signed a contract extension with Spanish Liga F side, UD Tenerife that will see her remain until 2027, Afrosport reports.
The 22-year-old joined the Canary Islands outfit from Bayelsa Queens in 2022 and has scored 11 goals in 49 appearances, including a brace against Sevilla in the second game of the ongoing 2024-25 season.
Monday reacting to her contract extension with Tenerife said on the club website: “My dream is to help the team, contribute positively to achieve victories and win more games.
“UD Tenerife has become my second family. I promise to always give my best to the club and make our fans proud.”
Gift Monday has been a integral part of the Super Falcons since making her debut in 2021 and has gone on to feature at the 2022 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco and the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup in Australia and New Zealand.
