Jordan Ayew says the Crystal Palace squad feel relaxed about the appointment of Oliver Glasner as the new manager.
The Austrian, who was previously in charge of Eintracht Frankfurt and led them to Europa League glory in 2022, replaced Roy Hodgson and was in the stands in Monday night’s Premier League 1-1 draw at Everton, a game in which Ayew scored.
The result left Palace in 15th place on the table with one win in five games (D1, L3) and Ayew is hoping things improve under Glasner.
“The club has appointed a new manager, and we’ll see how it goes, but we’re relaxed about it as a squad, and we are still focused on our task. We’ll welcome the new manager, and hopefully things will go on well,” he said.

Reflecting on Hodgson’s time as manager, Ayew said:
“When we speak about Roy, I have goosebumps because he’s been so good to me. He’s been a top manager, a top man. He’s helped me a lot, not only as a football player, but as a man as well, so I can’t thank him enough.”
Ayew will be hoping to be part of Glasner’s set up when Palace host Burnley at Selhurst Park on Saturday.
