Sacramento Kings guard De’Aaron Fox and New York Knicks forward Julius Randle have both been named as the Western and Eastern Conference NBA Players of the Week, respectively, for Week 6 of the ongoing 2023–24 season.
Fox, who was voted as the league’s clutch player of the year last season, led the Kings to a 2-1 record for the week covering November 27–December 3.
He fended off competition from six other stars from the West, including Anthony Davis (Lakers), Luka Doncic (Mavericks), Rudy Gobert and Karl-Anthony Towns (Timberwolves), Nikola Jokic (Nuggets), and Shaedon Sharpe (Trail Blazers).
The 25-year-old started off the week with a 29-point performance in their stoic 24-point comeback win against the Golden State Warriors to clinch West Group C of the NBA In-Season Tournament. Fox poured in 40 points, the highlight of his week, in their loss to the Los Angeles Clippers before another 20 or more-point display as he scored 26 points against the Denver Nuggets.
The former Kentucky star averaged 31.7 points, 6.0 rebounds, and 8.7 assists in Week 6 to clinch his second Player of the Week accolade of the season and the fifth of his rising career.

The Knicks were undefeated in the week with a 3-0 record, and it was largely in part to do with Randle, who averaged 24.7 points, 13.3 rebounds, and 7.3 assists.
He leapfrogged Giannis Antetokounmpo (Bucks), Patrick Beverley (76ers), Mikal Bridges (Nets), Donovan Mitchell (Cavaliers), Franz Wagner (Magic), and Coby White (Bulls) to win the Eastern Conference accolade.
A former Kentucky star like Fox, Randle began the week with a stellar 25 points and 20 rebounds display in a monster performance against the Charlotte Hornets in the in-season tournament, helping the Knicks clinch the East’s wildcard spot.
Against the Detroit Pistons at Madison Square Garden, he put up a season-high 29 points, along with 10 rebounds and 8 assists, before another 20-point, 10-rebound, and 9-assist game against the Toronto Raptors.
