Former Arsenal star Song gifts wife five-floor apartment on birthday

Former Cameroon midfielder Alex Song has gifted his spouse, Oli Booboo mult-million luxury apartments on the occasion of her birthday on September 26.

Song who played for Arsenal and Barcelona during his European sojourn, took to social media to eulogise his wife on Monday and he revealed pictures of the project he has constructed for her.

He recalled his early days in London when he could not afford luxury gifts to celebrate her birthday.

Song revealed that the five-floor building is close to the United States Embassy in Yaounde and it is named Oli Booboo Apartments.

The 35-year-old midfielder returned to Africa in 2020 and he currently plies his trade in Djibouti where he has won consecutive Premier League titles with Arta/Solar7.

A part of Song’s caption read: “I remember in 2006 in London when we lived in a small two-bedroom apartment, the first time I gave you a present for your birthday, I went to a store called TK Maxx, and from there I bought you a handbag which didn’t cost me much. That day you were so happy to receive it, your eyes were shining, you had thanked me a thousand times when this bag had only cost me €250.

“My only one love for life, do with this building what you want, you don’t have to answer to anyone, neither to me nor to your children, eat, spend, run, jump, it’s up to you, have fun, do what you want from that, in short, it is up to you to do what you want.”
