Xabi Alonso recorded his first win as Real Madrid manager in a 3-1 victory with 10 men over Mexican side Pachuca in Charlotte on Sunday, Afrosport reports.
The Spaniard recorded a 1-1 draw with Al-Hilal in his first official game which took many by surprise.
It seemed as though things were going to continue in an unpleasant manner when Raul Asensio was shown a straight red card after he dragged Salomon Rondon as the last man in the seventh minute.
The numerical disadvantage however did not deter Los Blancos at the Bank of America Stadium as Jude Bellingham put them ahead in the 35th minute before Ader Guler doubled it eight minutes later.
Frederico Valverde, who missed a penalty against Al-Hilal added the third in the 70th minute while Elias Montiel scored the consolation goal for Pachuca 10 minutes from time.
