Nigeria’s Under-18 boys’ team finally got some good news on Tuesday regarding the visa issue hindering their participation in the U18 AfroBasket tournament in South Africa.
The Junior D’Tigers have now been granted visas to South Africa to represent Nigeria at the tournament, Afrosport reports.
According to the head of delegation for the Nigeria U18 basketball team, Ugo Udueze, the Nigeria Basketball Federation (NBBF) have stepped up their efforts to transport the team Pretoria.

It is important to recall that the Junior D’Tigers were initially denied visas by the South African Consulate at Nigeria’s Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, on Monday.
However, with the issues now totally resolved, the NBBF is running against time to get the team in Soutb Africa early enough for their opening game against Egypt on Wendesday.
