English forward Harry Kane missed Bayern Munich’s training ahead of their Champions League play-off second leg against Celtic on Tuesday, Afrosport reports.
Kane sat out the session due to a facial injury he sustained during Bayern’s last match against Bayer Leverkusen on Saturday.
The 31-year-old took a knock to the face in their goalless draw at BayArena but lasted the length of the game.
“it’s [the injury] is nothing bad, Bayern coach Vincent Kompany said. “We haven’t had much time for recovery and sometimes you need an extra rest day.
“We will see how he [Kane] feels and make a decision then, but I expect its nothing serious. There has not been much time for the squad to recover.”

Kane scored what turned out to be the winner as the Bavarians secured a 2-1 win at Celtic Park last week.
The England international has scored 29 goals and provided 10 assists in 30 appearances for Bayern this season.
