Lewis Hamilton says he has 100% faith in Ferrari despite their poor start to the 2025 Formula 1 season, Afrosport reports.
The 40-year-old’s move to Scuderia from Mercedes has been the biggest talk of the year but things have not started as he would have liked.
Hamilton finished 10th in the season opener in Australia before going on to claim a surprise sprint race win in China.
This set the tone for a strong finish in the main race in Shanghai but his fifth place finish turned to a disqualification due to a rear skid block on his SF-25.
When asked if he was losing faith in his new team ahead of this weekend’s Japanese Grand Prix, Hamilton said: “I saw someone said something about whether I’m losing faith in the team, which is complete rubbish.
“I have absolute 100% faith in this team.
“There was obviously a huge amount of hype at the beginning of the year. I don’t know if everyone was expecting us to be winning from race one and winning the championship in our first year.
“That wasn’t my expectation. I know that I’m coming into a new culture, a new team and it’s going to take time.”
Looking sharp @LewisHamilton

Hamilton will hope to have better form in Suzaka where he is a five-time winner (2007, 2014, 2015, 2017, 2018).
